You might be asking: what can I do?

As with any small voluntary organization we're always short of money, but we're glad to receive donations of pet foods (sacks of dry preferred) for our volunteers who feed strays around Pigadia. If you wish to donate money, look for the ceramic donation boxes located in the island's hotels, restaurants and shops.

We also lack human helpers. Even if you only have an hour to spare to help us, we'd love to meet you. If you believe you have some time for the animals, even if only to answer our emergency line, please don't hesitate to contact us. We welcome people who want to learn first aid and the basics of species-related animal husbandry.

If you're a veterinary surgeon who likes to windsurf, Karpathos has some of the most challenging surfing in the world. And if you'd donate one or two days of your island vacation ... we need help! And we'd be willing to pass on insider surfing tips in exchange.

New members are welcome to join Animal Welfare Karpathos.

Lastly, we have a colorful selection of T-shirts, the full proceeds going to animal aid. And they are WAY COOL!
